Dear Father in Heaven,
I thank you for this new year and for your great grace, mercy and favor which is always ready to give me a fresh start. That is what I want, a new beginning. An opportunity to become a better person everyday. Lord you make all things new and I ask you for your healing presence in my life this coming year. Last year was a hard year but through it all you remained kind and good to me. You have been so faithful to me. I am so happy to have another chance to start again. Thank you for carrying me through every thing this past year and for always being by my side. I look forward to all the wonderful things you have in store for me. I love you Lord. Thank you. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
Don't start your day with the broken pieces of yesterday. Everyday is a fresh start. Each day is a new beginning. Every morning we wake up is the first day of our new life. May this new year be a blessing to you. God bless.
You have no idea how appropriate this prayer is for me right now. Thank you for giving me the words my brain has been struggling to string together. Our Father is so good and faithful and I pray he will answer my prayer to his timing.
