I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."
Romans 1: 29-32 lists: 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.
1) Adultery – Sexual violation of marriage. This is certainly a work of the flesh. Unlawful sexual relationships between man and a woman.
2) Fornication – Voluntary sexual relationship with unmarried people.
3) Uncleanness – Uncleanness is anything that is unholy. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10: Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.) 2 Timothy 3:2-5: 2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.)
4) Lasciviousness – This is another word for covetousness or even lust. Undisciplined thoughts and desires of the heart and mind. Matthew 5:28 says to lust after someone in your mind is to commit adultery as well.
5) Idolatry – Worship of any thing other than God. The very first two commandments (Exodus 20) in are against idolatry.
6) Witchcraft – Magic spells, Superstition, incantations, charms, potions, sorcery, black magic,
irresistible influence, spiritualism.
7) Hatred – Lack of forgiveness, extreme dislike. In the New Testament we are told that hatred is like murder! See Matthew 5:21,22.
8) Variance – Dispute, conflicting attitude. This is one of the sins that fall in the category of seven sins that God hates. See Proverbs 6:19.
9) Emulations - rivalry, competition, can’t stand another's success, better than somebody attitude.
10) Wrath - Violent, lasting, long term anger.
11) Strife – Very strong hostile feelings towards someone.
12) Seditions – Divisive, rebellious, not submitted to authority. 2 Peter 2:10 names despising government as one of the effects of walking after the flesh.
13) Heresies –Failure to conform to Biblical standards, contrary opinions. 2 Timothy 4:3 names this sin as a result of walking after lusts.
14) Envyings – jealous,resentful, not satisfied, to desire what another has.
15) Murders – To take the life out of, to kill.
Jesus kept this standard little more higher in Matthew 5:21-22 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.
