Please renew my spirit. Give me a heart that beats wildly for you, legs that carry me forward along your path, and a mind that is forever putting you first. Help me to feel light and free, and to follow you all of my days, rather than sink in negativity. I bless your name because you are holy and worthy of my trust. Therefore, I rest in your goodness and I ask that you would heal the parts of me that need it, and protect the parts of me that are whole and pure. I walk into this coming year with open arms, knowing that you have a bright hope and a future for me. I leave this year knowing that you cause all things to work together for my good, because I love you and have been called according to your purposes. Help me to pray and bless those relationships and people who are ignorant, and bothering. Allow me to be gracious and to have wisdom when I am with them. Help me to have a discerning heart. Bless me to have a good strong relationship with you my Father so I can reflect Christ in me when i am around them. Have your way, oh Lord and wherever you lead me, I will follow! Thank you Lord. I pray this in Jesus’ precious and mighty name, Amen.
