God is abundant in Grace and Favor

Hello dear sweet friend,

How's it going? Hope this message finds you in good cheer and health. I was just thinking the other day about life and the journey we are all in. I realized that every single one of us is going through something. Yes, even those of us who think life is all well, I am good, I got no issues. Thank God!:)

But, when we dig deeper we will find those little issues of relationships not just with people, but how is it going with the Lord? Are you having a steady relationship with the Lord? Hope you do and because of life's ongoing routine and business and our attempt to figure out life on our own is like asking confusion to take a break and come back later, when our mind is at rest. It ain't easy and don't work out like that, right?

Even if we think, everything is ok, its not ok. Assumptions, confusions, doubts, fears and other things creep through our thoughts because we are not completely leaning on the everlasting God. Poverty of the mind, of the heart, of your life comes from not trusting God. How difficult is life when every day is fraught with more and more and more to do because you believe this is normal living?

But think about this what would happen if you trusted Him when He tells you that He will always be with you? His grace is sufficient? He is enough for our day to day? He didn’t design us to try to figure every single thing out. He made us in His image to commune with Him and to help others to commune with Him. Imagine waking up every day knowing you will be working for the Lord. You probably go into the world not knowing what to expect, where to go, what to do, how to do it, when to do it, or why to do it. Wow! Certainly that must scare you. All the uncertainty.

That's how it was for Abraham from the Bible. God asked to leave from His home town to another land that God prepared for Him. Its absurd to think about leaving a town that you lived your whole life to an unknown one where you don't know anyone. Not sure what calamities you might endure on the way. To top it off He's got no GPS! Geesh! how did those around the ancient times get around? I still have a hard time getting around even with the map directing me. HAHA... well that's me now. you too? now that makes the two of us. What a small world? haha :)

We all know the story of Abraham. (If you don't please go to the book of Genesis in the Bible and you will find an account of Abraham and his life.) Seriously, what a man of Faith was Abraham. He just left with whatever he needed and believed that the Lord provides. His directions are enough. His grace and favor is sufficient. Abraham gave all his burden, insecurity, fear, doubts, confusions, uncertainties into the hands of the Lord. He believed that God is sovereign and he can take HIM at HIS word.

God’s Promise to Abraham The Biblical account of Abraham starts with God making the following promises to him: “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” - Genesis 12:2-3

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." - Romans 12:2

God's love and Promise is for you too. Abide in His word. Love God and Love one another. Keep your Faith and confidence in Him stronger always. Be of courage He's got your back. He will continue to bless you with His abundant riches. God’s favor is the power that changes things for us. You and I are saved by His favor, and I’m not just talking about going to heaven when we die. To be saved means to be delivered, protected, preserved, healed and made whole.God’s favor covers every area of our lives! By His favor, He has taken care of everything we will ever need—spirit, soul and body. His supernatural grace is so vast, the Bible says it is going to take all the ages to come for Him to show us all the riches of His grace in the kindness He’s given us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8 tells us, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God”

Let's Pray, shall we?

Dear Lord,

Thank you for your unlimited love. thank you for your amazing grace, thank you for your great favor, thank you for your unconditional mercies. Help me to keep on trusting you. Without you I cannot. I need you always. Help my faith to grow in you and to keep on trusting no matter what comes by. Forgive my sins and I repent of all my ways that displeased you. May your presence always go before me and hold me up. Thank you Lord. I receive your kindness. May I keep obeying your word and live to serve you. You are Sovereign. I love you and I trust you my Lord. In Jesus name, amen.

Question to Ponder: What serious steps are you taking to tryst God at His word? Will you keep trusting Him even if the road seems to never end? Share in the comments below.

Praying you have a wonderful day. May the Lord lead you today with His presence. May His favor, mercy and grace be upon you and your families. May His abundance of hope, faith, peace, love, joy and blessings grow in you. Stay encouraged and blessed.
