God Upholds Me

 

"For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." - 2 Timothy 1:7

There are many times we feel as if God has forsaken us. He is not so close by. We feel lonely and broken. The funny thing is even in the scriptures we find these sad expressions. 

'Do not forsake me, O Lord! O my God, be not far me! Make haste to help me, O Lord, my Salvation!' - Psalm 38:21-22

These were real people with problems just like us. They also experienced heartaches, pain, depression, anxiety, stress, loneliness just like us. But, we can always see that these characters did not sit in one place and moan about it on and on. They reached out to God. They asked for help. They prayed, cried, screamed out for salvation and answers. 

You see, everyone goes through something or the other. When you go through problems, pray, seek, knock and find your answers in the Lord. Talk to Him about all your troubles. Also, if there is someone that you trust, pray for discernment, and please share with them your struggles and ask them to pray for you. Remember that you can rest in peace knowing that you are not alone. 

Everyone has struggles but that does not mean that's the end. The word of God does not want us to have a spirit of fear but of Power, love and self-discipline/control in Christ Jesus. 

Today, be grounded in the truth, knowing that Jesus is with you, He is there to help you, strengthen you, guide you, fill you with peace and Joy and to uphold you. Never underestimate the power of the word of God, the promises, and prayer. Walk in the way that the Lord is asking you through His word. Keep your integrity and His righteousness through and through. In the end you will see that when He dwells in you and you in Him, you will produce the fruit of the spirit. When you are with Him, He will take care of all things. Be tuned with the Holy Spirit today. He loves you and He needs you and He cares about you. 

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10

God is the reason,

You are here today. 

God is the reason, 

You rejoice today. 

God is the only one who gathered you, helped you, upheld you, strengthened you and filled you with His love, joy and peace.

 

PRAYER: 

Dear Lord, I am glad you are with me in every season of my life. Please show me what I need to learn from these tough experiences that I am going through, and please help me to trust in you as I go through it. Thank you for being with me when I am overwhelmed, scared, lonely and anxious. I pray you cover me with you love, protection, power and self-discipline. Carry me Lord. I am glad you are with me. You are my God and You will strengthen  and help and uphold me with your righteous right hand. I love you and I trust you. In Jesus name, Amen.
