Be a Mary Magdalene

Mary’s desperate longing to be close to Christ, to serve Him in any way she could, became the way she lived her life. She knew she would not have a life to live if not for Him.

The life and story of Mary Magdalene being delivered and set free by Christ, giving financially to His ministry, lingering at the foot of the cross in His final moments, visiting the empty tomb after His death, and being the first to see him again after the Resurrection, remains so very significant.

Jesus always showed great respect and care for women. A lady once filled with seven demons, was the chosen one to go to the disciples and proclaim the risen Christ.

Why she? It's simple. Her faithfulness had its reward. She was chosen because she was the one still looking for His body. She was there! The others had gone back home.

Jesus said, “I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.” - Luke 7:47

When we truly faithful to the Lord like Mary, you will be faithful with your spouse, your parenting, your workplace and all the areas your lives. Colossians 3:23 says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters". Then we can have the TRUE JOY that Jesus offers.

Be a Mary Magdalene, never let your mistakes and judgments of other people stop you from experiencing true joy in Jesus.
