You are the apple of His eyes

Hello dear friend, praying you are doing well. I know with all the chaos going on in the world we can feel worn out. But take heart, remember, our Lord has taken care of all matters for us. He is in control. Don't feel discouraged. He is in control of all things. Now, make a cup of your favorite beverage  and settle somewhere, put a smile on that sweet face. Now that you are settled do you Care to read this Psalms with me? This portion encouraged me knowing that I can have an honest chat with the Lord and to know that He is by my side and I am assured  by faith that I am the apple of His eyes. You too can read the words as it is an honest conversation with the Lord that we can all relate to when we are feeling a little down:

Psalm 17: "Hear a just cause, O LORD; attend to my cry! Give ear to my prayer from lips free of deceit! From your presence let my vindication come! Let your eyes behold the right! You have tried my heart, you have visited me by night, you have tested me, and you will find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress. With regard to the works of man, by the word of your lips I have avoided the ways of the violent. My steps have held fast to your paths; my feet have not slipped. I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me; hear my words. Wondrously show your steadfast love, O Savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at your right hand. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings, From the wicked who do me violence, my deadly enemies who surround me. They close their hearts to pity; with their mouths they speak arrogantly. They have now surrounded our steps; they set their eyes to cast us to the ground. He is like a lion eager to tear, as a young lion lurking in ambush. Arise, O LORD! Confront him, subdue him! Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword, from men by your hand, O LORD, from men of the world whose portion is in this life. You fill their womb with treasure; they are satisfied with children, and they leave their abundance to their infants. As for me, I shall behold your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with your likeness."

When your heart is hurting and when you feel the pain stinging. When the ones you thought would be there is gone. Don’t feel defeated. Look to the one who holds your heart and can fix it all. Yes He is the Lord God who sees and knows you.  He is listening to you. Without His knowledge nothing and no one can touch you. You are the apple of His eyes. Trust Him.

Promise word: "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." - Hebrews 13:5 

Let's Pray, shall we? 

Dear Lord, 

thank you for delivering my soul from all the schemes of the wicked one. Help me to keep my mind and self focused on you. I am trusting you. My coming and going out you take care of it. I love you so much. Thank you for your concern and protection over my life and my loved ones. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen. 

I am Praying for you dear friend, may your life be protected by the Lord. May you be healed and enjoy a blessed life. Stay encouraged by the word of God and stay blessed.
