End of Year Prayer

 Dear Father,

As we come to the close of another year, we thank you that you have been with us through the days of this past year. Thank You for giving me joy all through this year. Thank You for surrounding me with Your peace and thank you for another year to start over again. You have been good to me, to my family and to my destiny. Your mercy has seen me through all these months. Have mercy, we pray, upon those connected with us who come to the end of this year and their hearts are still closed against you, still hardening their hearts against you. We pray, Lord, that you would do that in the hearts and lives of all who are upon our hearts. Lord, be with our loved ones. In Jesus' name,

Encouraging Verses:
Hebrews 12:1 – Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

Psalm 138:1 - “O LORD, I give You thanks with my whole heart; before the gods I sing your praise; I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word in my life, in Jesus name.”
