We can never receive some blessings until we have waited patiently on God for them. We must constantly remind ourselves that we cannot improve on what God has planned for us. Whenever I am tempted to leap ahead of God in a situation, I remember the wise words of a godly man: "God's plan is worth the cost of a delay." Hebrews 6:12 tells us to, "Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises." Exercising patience in times of tension and difficulty can enable you to lay hold of the promises of God.
In our stillness God wants you to let go of every past hurt. He wants you to give it all to him, one must actively cause the letting go; it doesn’t just happen out of the blue. When you are still with the Lord, His presence is felt. His whispers are heard. We can rest assured in His care. We will find His peace and joy. He will remind us that we are not alone. We will feel His might and power. His sovereignty will reign forever and ever. We will humble and surrender our will and accept his. He will be in control of all things and we do not have to fret and fear. Instead, just be still and know that He is Lord. He has got you covered.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” - PSALM 46:10
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your protection throughout this month. Thank you that your love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, thank you that your love never fails. Give me patience to be still and remember that You are God. Through You and Your love, everything that happens to me will make me stronger. Thank you for not giving up on me. I didn't have it in me anymore. Help us to love as you love. Fill us with your Spirit so that we can choose what is best. We are weak Lord, but we know also, that even when we are weak, you are strong within us. Thank you that it’s not all up to us. Thank you that you equip us to face each day with Your protection, healing, the power of your Love, your forgiveness, and your grace. We love you Lord, and we need you today, and every day. Praying for a wonderful new month ahead. Thank you for the great things you are going to do in our lives. Thank you Lord. Looking forward for a great month. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Psalm 18:2 - The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
