"For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory." - Psalm 149:4
What a wonderful truth that the Lord delights in His people.
WoW! We are a delight to Him.
We are called His own. He crowns us with victory. A time is coming when all of God’s people will celebrate with abundant joy. We will enjoy the victory over sin, death, and this world. We will be singing songs of praise and jumping for joy. We can rejoice now, in the midst of our trials and tribulations here on earth because we know that in the end we will be victorious through Christ Jesus!
We praise the Lord, not only because of who he is and what he does (Psalm 146-148), but also because he involves his people in his work.
He takes the sinner, the orphans, the broken-hearted, the prisoners, the widows, the downcast, the poor, the tortured ones —the rejects of this world—and builds an army through them whom he will judge and rule the nations of the earth. And on that day, we the children of God will stand in triumphant position! For this we Praise God! Amen. God bless!
PRAYER:
Dear God,
Thank you for surrounding your goodness over me. Thank you for taking delight of who I am. Thank you for your presence beside me. I am glad that I can stand on your promises and keep on winning! Thank you for crowning me with your victory! I trust you. In Jesus name, Amen.
