“I relieved his shoulder of the burden, His hands were freed from the basket." - Psalm 81:6
Psalm 81 is a Psalm that the Israels sings about the deliverance of God and it is also an appeal for Israel's repentance.
God brought them out of the house of bondage from Egypt and removed the burden of their oppression. He parted the red sea and carried them from there too. He is eager to relieve their shoulders of the burdens they are carrying. He want to free them from carrying the baskets of brick and clay -- also, the pain, guilt, sadness, hurt, shame, and lack. He extended to comfort and fill them with His presence. He wants to wrap them with His peace.
In the same way, He is willing to deliver your past sin and wants to welcome you to His glory and Kingdom. Do not resist His love. Yield. Position your posture to His will. Surrender. Submit. Let Him guide and fill you with His glory.
He wants you to enjoy His presence today. Our God is the same today, tomorrow and forever. He never changes. His word is sure and reliable.
Do not turn back and make any decisions based on your feelings. But, take a moment, go to your quiet place, relax, rest and be refreshed by reading the word of God and let His promises speak to your life. He wants you to stand victoriously. He will guide and fill your baskets with treasures of His abundance love and joy in your walk with Him. He truly wants you to enjoy His presence today.
Whatever riot and burden is taking place in this world, don't be moved by it, you don't have to dance along with the world's standards and voices. Do not let your prayers be silenced, if you do, the world will gladly provide you with its own soundtrack. Therefore, Keep Praying. Release your baskets to Jesus. He will fill it with good plans and blessings. Enjoy His presence today. God bless.
Prayer:
Dear God, Thank you for being the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever. Thank you for releasing me from all kinds of unwanted loads that I carried for so long. Thank you for freeing my heavy baskets that were filled with sin, fear, shame, regret and guilt. Help me to surrender, submit, rest, relax and be refreshed in your promises. Wrap me in your Presence forever. I love you. In Jesus name, Amen.
