"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline." - 2 Timothy 1:7
God's Spirit, He gave it to us generously. It is our choice to receive or not. Our submission to God's word is how we receive His Spirit.
"Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit." - Galatians 5:25
Clearly, God does not want us to live in fear. He wants us be in triumphant positions with Him. He gave us a spirit of power, love and self-discipline.
"For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God." - Romans 8:14
God is love. God is All-powerful and He is a God of order and discipline. As children of God, He expects us to be in His standards. His grace is all we need to be in His standards. He will pour His spirit on those who eagerly seek and obey Him. Step up with the Spirit.
"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans." - Romans 8:26
And when we don't know what to pray, speak up or having feelings of weaknesses, He will come to our aid and will help and teach us all things.
"Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground." - Psalm 143:10
Ask the Lord to teach you things you don't know, He surely will comfort, bring joy and will teach us according to His will.
"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." - Psalm 51:10
Even if, we feel we are all good, yet, God wants you to come and refresh in Him. Therefore, today, in your quiet time, ask the Lord to create, renew and to give a pure heart and an upright spirit within you. God will surely guide and give you all things that is asked according to His will. His spirit will reside in you as you continue to be sincere and tuned in with Him. God bless.
