Monday Blessings - I am the LORD; I change not! 💛

"The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever." -  Isaiah 40:8

It is that time of the year where the seasons are changing and doing its thing. Our days get shorter, temperatures start to cool significantly and the family routine changes as kids are back in school. The trees and leaves starts to change its colors and fall away. The birds follows the pattern and prepare to migrate, the chipmunks and the foxes get ready for deep hibernations. The smell of warm apple ciders, pies and chocolate milk begins to tingles our taste buds. Everyone is on the move preparing for the long winter that is coming up soon.

Change of seasons is also a time to reflect on God's promises. The consistency of the earth's seasons is an amazing reflection of its Maker and the steadiness of His character.

Yet, in all these changes, God and His promises remains the same. He is unchanging. His ever loving kindness endures forever. His protection over us is secured forever. His presences goes before us forever and He is the same always.

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." - Hebrews 13:8

No matter what seasons you are in, God is right beside you, watching and making grand plans for your future. He will never turn you down. Just go to Him, begin a healthy, solid and firm relationship with Him, He will guide you and bless you with wisdom and discernment that will help you through. Continue to put your trust and strength in Him alone. He will carry all your burdens and will care for you. You can rest in His bosom and not worry about nothing. Keep on putting your confidence in Him. You can be assured to be secure in His word. You can hide in the shadow of His wings and be sheltered in His care. He will not abandon you. He changes not!

God Himself said, “I am the LORD; I change not” (Malachi 3:6). The Bible says' "He is the Father of lights with whom there is no change or variation." (James 1:17)

This means God will never be less than He is now, or ever be different from what He has already revealed Himself to be in the past. Praise God! What a great and awesome God we serve. I pray this encourages you to keep a steady fellowship with Him.

Prayer:

Dear Father in heaven,

Thank you for today. I am glad you never change but you are the same yesterday, today and forever. I am grateful that I can rely and trust your promises, for your word endures forever. I pray you help me to always make time to chat with you. Let me always cling onto your presence. Lead me in the path of righteousness and please fill me with your wisdom and discernment. I trust you for guiding me. I surrender all of me to you. In Jesus name, Amen.
