"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." - James 1:5
How amazing it is that God lavishes His wisdom to anyone who asks! He is true to His word. He wants us to discern and live a life in abundance. He don't want us to foolishly stumble and fall. He wants us to pause and reflect on His word before jumping into conclusions, which may affect the future. He wants us to tune in and ask Him for His divine wisdom, grace and favor, so He can gently serve and fulfill all your needs.
Sometimes, wisdom is also found in what God doesn't say. There is so much beauty and Sovereignty stamped all over that silence. He knows the best for us. When you ask and all you get is a silent space, then just be patient and keep going as usual, because He knows the best for you. God wants us to live by faith, trusting his reliable promises more than our unreliable perceptions. And that means, God’s trustworthy purposes in not telling us everything. He is silent only for very good reasons. His love for you is written all over, whether He answer you with a wisdom call or send you with a silent call, He's got your back. But what’s important to remember is this: God is very wise and intentional in what he makes clear to us and does not make clear to us. Therefore, take heart, He has you covered and protected. Dear God,
Thank you for this beautiful day. Thank you for your promises. I am grateful that you generously pour out your wisdom to all without finding fault. Thank you for such sweet care and concern. I am glad for the sense of wisdom and discernment you have given me. Help me to use it wisely to save myself and to build others up. Than you Lord. I love you. In Jesus name, Amen.
