"Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul." (Psalm 143:8)
In couple more days the new year begins. Most of us are already done planning, some of us are in the process of finishing it all up, and some may have not even begun and is lost in a phase of what to do? Where to begin? How to start it all up? and some others are like, "It's too late to plan anything! My life just stinks! I have no form of routine or discipline. It's just the same old pathetic story."
Let me tell you, whatever the case is, If you are already done planning or in the process of finishing then GREAT! AWESOME! Keep it up! But others who are clueless, don't worry, you are not late and it does not have to be the same ol' sad story!
If we are being honest, the best way to start your day as a believer is with God! This means, as you wake up, connect with God, It is fulfilling and life giving. When you talk to God in the morning, it refreshes your heart, mind and soul. You are filling it with the word of God which brings peace everlasting. When you make this into a habit and routine, God's plans for you will works through amazing and mysterious ways. Trust me it is unbelievable, when you give first priority to God most High!
Throughout the day, even if no plan of yours works out, Just do these 3 things early in the morning when you wake up:
1: Make your Bed,
2: Read your Bible and
3: Pray the word of God
Why make bed? - Because it's nice to sit in a clean, quiet and calm atmosphere! :)
Prayer is vital, so start doing it early, before you even scroll through your phone.
Planning to make room to read the word of God is a healing balm to the soul.
Praying the word of God and meditating on it will keep the evil one at bay. The word is powerful and will defeat any source that is coming to attack you.
Few Biblical Promises for you to read in the Morning:

Making your bed, reading the Bible and Chatting with Jesus first thing in the morning will definitely set you up for a better mood than you could imagine. Create a full morning routine with Jesus and abide by it every day, if you can. It will improve spiritual life and gives us better communication with God and it Offers us a very quiet time with God, away from distractions.
Also, Committing the day into the hands of God for more productive results and Renewal of mind which takes up every burden that may be upon our shoulders or in our hearts and the Confidence that everything we ask for and require has been taken good care of by God. Isn't that Amazing? Therefore, you are not late in planning, you can still make progress by just filling your heart with God's word for this coming new year, rest in Jesus, seek His Kingdom through and through and all the other things will follow! He will guard all your coming and going. Lean onto Him. God bless.
Prayer:

Thank you for shaping me up to do your will. Bless me to calmly settle into a discipline that you want me to settle in. Ease me into your care and love. My coming and going is protected and seen by you. I pray you help me to be consistent and responsible in all the things that I plan. May your plans prevail over me. Thank you for helping me out.
