Life is not perfect, and neither are you. There will be failures along with success. But how you respond to your bad decisions, mistakes, failure, and the like will determine in large part how well you achieve success. When you don’t surrender to Christ, you surrender to chaos. Trust the Lord and His timing. Surrender to Christ alone. He alone will deliver you. He will be your shield and fortress. Let the Lord rule your world if you want Him to rock your world. When we submit ourselves to God's will, we are positioned to experience His providence. I can’t promise you that life will be without wind, clouds, and rain. But I can promise you that you don’t have to walk through the valley alone. Jesus is with you at all times. He is close by, repent, pray, forgive, read the word and obey, rejoice, love the Lord and others. God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all.To worry about tomorrow is to forfeit your peace today. Trust in God and rest. Faith is measured by your life, not your lips. Remember, Your greatest lessons in faith are often learned in the dark. Forgiving yourself is just as critical as forgiving others. Show yourself grace, because of Jesus. You can’t change yesterday but you can say a whole lot about tomorrow. When you position yourself under the authority of Jesus Christ, God will lift you up. This coming New year Keep Christ your priority! He must be your focus and He must be your confidence.
PRAYER:
Dear Heavenly Father,
As we come to the close of another year, we thank You that You have been with us through the days of this past year. Thank You for giving me joy all through this year. Thank You for surrounding me with Your peace and thank You for another year to start over again. You have been good to me, to my family and to my destiny. Your mercy has seen me through all these months. Have mercy, we pray, upon those connected with us who come to the end of this year and their hearts are still closed against you, still hardening their hearts against you. We pray, Lord, that you would do that in the hearts and lives of all who are upon our hearts. Lord, be with our loved ones. Thank you for taking care of me this past year. I do not deserve it, yet, you were faithful and kind. Bless me to be in your will and diligently wait upon your presence in the coming New Year. Help me to step up. I pray for wisdom, healing, love, joy, peace, perseverance, and guidance. May your Holy Spirit lead and comfort me. In Jesus' name,
