🐜 Who shook the jar? 🐜

Mark Twain, famous American thinker and writer, said so, "If you collect 100 black ants and 100 red ants and put them in a glass jar nothing will happen, but if you take the jar, shake it violently and leave it on the table, the ants will start killing each other. Reds believe that black is the enemy while black believes that red is the enemy when the real enemy is the person who shook the jar."

The same is true in church. All kinds of personalities, culture and race assemble together. The differences are high but before we point the differences, fight and find fault with each other, we must be quick to ask ourselves: Who is shaking the jar? 

The word of God warns us firmly about our real enemy (the devil) and how we must prepare to fight it! 

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people." - Ephesians 6:10-18

When we the church is divided, back-biting, gossiping, hating, being envious, having malice, bitterness, doing adultery, having pride, ego, enjoying secret sins quietly, partial obedience, disobedience, being a false witness, disturbing the peace among the brotherhood, acting in anger and such, that's when  the enemy conquers our souls. We are entangled by the spirits of this world that wages war against our souls. We must take effort to stay clean, making a covenant with our God to not do such evil practices.  We must put  away all kinds of evil, and be united and expose the real enemy. We do not belong to the dark but are called to shine for Jesus Christ. Take steps to renew your mind and heart for the things that are above so the enemy cannot enter and shake our thoughts with evil desires. 

"Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." - 1 Peter 5:8

Keep watch! Stay Alert! Give thanks and Pray without ceasing! The God who rules our heart will fill us with a peace that transcends all understanding! On the day of His second coming we must be raptured and reigning with Him. Amen. God bless. 

Prayer: 

Dear God, Please keep alert and to watch out for the real enemy. Fill me with your peace and joy. Help me to serve you and those around me cheerfully without judging. I pray your goodness and blessings over me. In Jesus name, Amen.
