"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." - Romans 15:13
Paul is not asking God to simply dump joy and peace into their hearts without cause. He is asking that as these believers trust in God, their faith will bring joy and peace to their hearts. Power up with God. The minute you trust and build a relationship with Jesus, He fills you with His glory. What do you need to trust God with today? Take a moment, re-read that scripture and memorize it, don't rush to leave this devotion, instead bring all your concerns to the one who brings you Hope, Joy and Peace. I pray that today God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with new hope, joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. God bless.

Dear God,
Thank you for your kind mercies. Thank you for filling me with your peace, hope and joy. Your grace is ever so sufficient. Today show me how to cling onto you and fill me with your rest that my soul needs. Thank you. In Jesus name, Amen.
