A Prayer for Peace - Seek and Pursue Peace

Dear God, 

You are a God of Peace. 
You are a God of Love. 
You are a God of Joy.
You are a God of Hope. 
Thank you for your unconditional
 Peace in my life. 
Thank your for your Sovereignty. 
Guide and Help me
to seek and pursue peace 
in every area of my life. 
Especially, in my relationships, 
in my workplace, within my families
extended families, friends, community and church. Every where I go Help me to handle 
things peaceably. Your word says that peacemakers who sow 
in peace reap a harvest of Righteousness. 
Help me to genuinely
and sincerely seek peace even if 
things or people in our life try to bring 
disputes. Help me to forgive them 70 times 70 and bring in unity and peace. Please guide us to be a Peacemaker. Help us to abide in you 
O Lord and bless us to please you to do your will in everything always. Thank you Lord for seeing our heart and being kind towards us. 
I pray all this in Jesus name. Amen. 

Keep your tongue from evil
And your lips from speaking deceit.
Depart from evil and do good;
