Keep Journaling - Did you Know God also is in the Business of Journaling?

Journaling is usually a solitary act. The handwritten personal journal has wonderful joy  in itself. It helps in most problem solving, life management and creative expression. Not everyone is willing to try writing as a primary or supplementary approach to problem-solving. Those who are—even when they are skeptical at first—almost always find writing to be a powerful and surprisingly accessible means to insight, healing, growth and change.

As a Christian how can we benefit in Journaling?

Journaling helps us to pay attention to God. It helps us both to hear from and respond to God. It forces us to slow down and helps us to process of what is going on inside our little analytical mind.

Journaling with different color ink pens helps to Highlight important verses or any events. Jot down things that God specifically spoke to you through the word! So the next time you come and read those words...it will jump right at you to see the Power of God.

Journaling also helps you to be sensitive, focused and on the outlook to listening to His word!  Use a different color to write down any frustrations and other prayer requests which will allow you to scan through your journal and see either how ridiculous you have been or how God showed Himself in the midst of those frustrations and also to see How God answered your prayer requests.

Journaling records our growth in becoming more like Christ. Seeing all the word of God that was given to us in writing, during those days, keeps us wanting to bring things to God and ask Him to change us because we will see the major ways  and miracles He has done in our past.

Journaling helps put feelings to words, or words to feelings. journaling helps our emotions to surface as we get our words out on the page. Journaling can also help us to gain perspective and hope and combat the enemy. It gives us more Faith in the Lord. It is a Reassurance to see how the Lord helped you overcome through every circumstances. Also, Don't forget to Check mark all the answered prayers.

Pray and Write your love letters to God. He is watching you. Read His word. Listen to what He has to say through the word for you and enjoy this specific time alone with the Lord.
