I'm Lord's Beautiful Masterpiece!

In Ephesians 2:10, we are described as God’s masterpiece . . . a true work of art!

" For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. " - Ephesians 2:10

You are God’s masterpiece, designed by your Creator for a specific purpose. When God created humanity, we were created “in His image”.

Genesis 1:27, 31, says " God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. "

God created you with purpose, and because you are here today breathing, alive, you have purpose to impact this world in His name, as one created in IN HIS IMAGE. 

Psalm 139:13-14  says, " For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." 

God has fashioned us into his likeness, using both shadows and light to highlight his work within us so that we can reflect his image to the world.  God’s greatest masterpiece of creation is you. And it is me. We are God’s greatest masterpieces.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5).

Consequently, God showed me that where He guides, He provides.

We are honored that He has called us to serve Him. We are still a work in progress, but that’s okay, because we know that He loves us and His love will never fail.

You were bought with a price – so don’t hand out discounts like you weren’t. Therefore, if you are reading this and have feelings of doubt or unworthiness, I encourage you to seek His word and find His unfailing love.

God says, “You are my work of art. You are my poem. You are my masterwork.” Look in My mirror and see what I see, My beautiful creation, My treasure, My masterpiece. You were created in My image and you are indeed a piece of the Master." 

You are a unique person created by an almighty God with a specific path and purpose. We all struggle with our own insecurities and comparing ourselves to others, but we were not created to measure up to anyone or anything. God created us to be exactly who we are!  

I encourage you to ask God to help you focus on becoming who He created you to be – not who you think you ought to be. He loves you as you are. Believe that with all your heart. Then you will see that you indeed are a perfect work of art. You are God's  MASTERPIECE. An original creation. A WORK OF ART!  

PRAYER:
Thank You for creating me in Your image and calling me Your masterpiece. Thank You for Your unconditional love and faithfulness which will bring me through the broken times in my life. Please help me to trust You to do a beautiful, new work in and through me that will reflect Your goodness to the world around me. Please help me to live like the one You created me to be. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
