We pray for those who have suffered injury as a result of a road crash; those who have suffered permanent injury, and those who care for them; those who have lost confidence and who are unable to use the roads without anxiety; those who grieve for a loved one who has died in a road calamity. Loving God, use us as we are able to comfort and support those who suffer; and what we cannot do for them be pleased yourself to do so that in the mystery of your love they may find peace, and healing and faith. Let us also have in our minds and hearts all who use the roads, and especially the men and women who work for their safety and well-being, and those who devote themselves to rescue and healing. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers and help everyone be safe. In Jesus name, Amen.
