Thank You Lord for Your favor over me!

I pray:
"Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon you, and establish the work of your hands upon you; yes, establish the work of your hands!" Psalm 90:17

In today's age and time our society has taught us to believe that everything is based on our perfect performance. Everything must be done in perfection. The media has created this idea in us that we must be perfect in everything -- perfect image, perfect body, perfect looks, everything we do, anything we say, anywhere we go, must be perfect. If there is a new trend that is advertised, immediately the world follows suit, trying to be this perfect someone they are not and if that person following that trend does not come up to the media standards they feel miserable, depressed and a feeling of not worth of themselves. It gives us a false hope to be this perfect somebody in this world.

The truth of the matter is ALL people in general deep down wants to be accepted as who they are. When they are not being accepted, they try to follow the crowd and wants to fit in. Trying to be something they are not or trying to imitate somebody they are not. Everyone is going with the flow and not getting anywhere.

It's interesting how we people are so focused on being perfect. So focused on what other's say. So focused to please everyone around us in order to be accepted. In the midst of focusing too much of what the world is saying, we miss out on how beautifully and uniquely we are created in God's image and standards.

You see, the beauty about our Lord is that, he has not called us to be perfect. The truth is we are just someone who is so imperfect and in need of a loving and perfect father in heaven. Many a times we think that if we perform well for God, He will back us up. But the truth of the matter is we all fail we are not perfect. No matter how good we are, we are prone to make mistakes and fall. At this point, it is easy to think we blew it, God is going to be disappointed with us and its useless to go on.

But, the beautiful truth is even in our failures and past mistakes, God won't turn his back on us. He will run with a fierce passion towards us to rescue us and pick us from where we have failed. He won't leave us alone until he make sure we are restored and moving in the right direction. He will re-ignite our faith in him, help us through, put people across our path to encourage us and to guide us. Helps us by Promising us about the word of God:

"Even though your father and mother forsake you, the Lord will receive you." (Psalm27:10)

All God wants from us is a sincere and a pure heart. A relationship that is true with him. A perfect heart towards him. He don't want you to perform anything perfect. Only a heart that is seeking after His own will to do. A heart that is filled with the fruit of the spirit(Galatians 5:22)

"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. "(2 Chronicles 16:9)

Have a desire to please God alone, Let His love establish you and bring you in His plans. Yea it maybe true, nothing you did was perfect, all your performances failed, everything you touched turns rotten, everything may see unfocused. But, make sure you have a heart that is perfect and true to God. He still have wonderful things planned ahead for you. His promises are true about us and  give us life:

"My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Your book were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!" (Psalm 139:15-17)

Even with all our failures, sorrows and all the past baggage, God's thoughts towards us are precious. Hold onto the promises of God. Believe in Him. Trust Him. Do not lose Hope in Jesus Christ, in due time He will redeem us. God is never judging us based on one setback. Get rid of all evil thoughts and negative label. Do not let that be our identity. Our Identity is found in Christ. Even with all our imperfection, God is going to stand strong for us. Get rid of all guilt and shame because Jesus has died for all our sins and redeemed us by His precious blood. Receive His love, favor mercy and Grace. Accept it. We will be what God wants us to be.

Lay down all burdens, imperfections and all failures down his feet. He will comfort us and carry it all. Don't be anxious. Pray about all things. God loves us no matter what past history you are coming from. He can give us a clean heart. We can be everything that God wants us to be. We don't have to be good enough for him to pick us up. Just keep on trusting Him. Hold onto his promises. Jesus loves the Imperfect us because he never required us to be perfect beings.

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." (Psalm 51:10)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6)

I am weak but my God is strong; I don't have all but I have Him. Though I am tired, I know He is not tired of Loving me.. and that is enough inspiration for me to face each day. I am just someone imperfect, yet, loved by a perfect God
