Saturday Morning Blessings! Be Still and Know

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."- Psalm 46:10

The Bible commands us to “Be Still,” to “cease striving” , and in that stillness to have an encounter with God. But we cannot be still if our minds are preoccupied by the pressures of family, finances, and work—if God is only a parenthesis in our day.

Being still means eliminating distractions and focusing on the Lord. It means waiting in His presence and listening to Him. It means reading and studying His Word. It means having regular, dedicated times of prayer and communion.

Today, remember that God is present in your life—right now! You can call on Him at any time, day or night. But you have the choice to ignore Him or spend time with Him.

You need to be still and stay calm for the Lord will fight for you. Turn your worries in prayers.  Quit hurting yourself. Quit hurting those around you. Trust God. He is right by you. He is paving a way. Yes, the might is long. Nobody said its going to be easy. Wait. Wait with good cheer. Keep praising Him in the hall way. He is fighting this battle for you. You only need to be still and faithful to the Lord. He will carry you through. His peace He will pour. Fix your eyes on Jesus and keep the Faith in Him alone.  He gives a peace and comfort that you cannot fathom so keep trusting the Lord.

"The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” - Exodus 14:13-14

Prayer: Our Heavenly Father, I know I can trust you. I pray for your wisdom and grace to thrive through all the battles that come against me. I know you will go before and set all my paths straight. Thank you Lord. In Jesus name Amen.
