When we are emotionally overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, grieving, or distressed, God is there for us. Only God can repair a broken heart. Only God can purify an unclean soul. Only God can set us free from addictions. Only God can heal us of sin. The Scriptures tell us, “He [Jesus] himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24).
Dear Heavenly Father,
You see the brokenness and pain inside me. You hear me cry. Thank you for coming near to me as I poured. You comforted me. You reassured your love for me. You renewed and strengthen me. You lavished you’re kindness and joy in me. I praise you. I rejoice in your everlasting goodness and compassion over me. Thank you for healing and putting a comforting balm in my soul. We just lay it all to you. Our hope comes from you. You are our way maker, promise keeper and our light in the darkness. Thank you for your grace. Thank you for your healing power. Thank you for your love and peace. Forgive our sins O Lord. We repent of our sinful ways. Forgive us our disobedience towards you. Heal us with your mercy and love. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers. Thank you for sending your downpour of healing and wellness to this world. I pray all this in Jesus name. Amen. 💜
