During the years of construction of this huge vessel, people laughed at Noah. They felt sorry for his family and wrote him off as being insane, until it began to rain and rain and rain.
When you think about true loneliness, remember the Garden of Gethsemane. Nothing we face can compare to the depth of loneliness Jesus experienced. Not only did His friends and disciples abandon Him, but, for one brief moment, Jesus even cried out to ask why God had also forsaken Him.
Christ experienced the deepest level of loneliness so that you might have eternal fellowship with the Father who loves you perfectly. In Christ, never will you be forsaken by God because of Christ’s finished work on the cross. You will never be alone, again.
Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being there for me, never leaving me and always loving me. I pray that when I feel alone, I will be encouraged by the Truth that You will never leave or forsake me. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen.
