Loving Father, I stop for a moment to consider your loving gaze upon me.
I thank you for all the good things I have received.
As another day passes, I look to you, Lord, for peace.
I ask you to give me a heart that’s attentive to the needs of others;
so that everything I have received will be returned in service to others, and so build-up your Kingdom.
Help me to know how to distinguish good from what is evil.
Help me to be more authentic in my words and actions, and to be more like your Son, Jesus.
Grant that tomorrow I may drink from the wellspring of your Word.
And allow it to penetrate every aspect of my life.
In Jesus name, Amen.
