The World's News is Discouraging, but God's News is Uplifting 🙏❤️

One of the busiest persons who ever lived on the planet earth was the Lord Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, His primary business was to PRAY. It is written in Luke 5:16, "But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed."

TIME: It is written that Jesus often withdrew to pray. Prayer was not an occasional or sporadic activity for Him. Prayer was not simply His action but His habit. He was addicted to communion with the Father. Is prayer a frequent activity of our lives? How often do we pray?

PLACE: It is written that Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray. He intentionally chose to withdraw from work, family, crowd, even from His closest disciples, so that He can be alone with the Father and pray. Do we intentionally choose to isolate ourselves to pray?

During this time of quarantine at home due to Covid-19 crisis, this opportunity is not just to spend time with our family, work, have online chats, watch Television and social media. This is the time especially for us to isolate ourselves to pray. This crisis is a God-given privilege to cultivate our prayer lives.

Dear friend, don't just be glued to the television or the Internet or social media to keep hearing the news of Covid-19. Take time to pray and hear the news of God's Word.

The world's news is discouraging, but God's news is uplifting. Let's not just keep forwarding the news of Covid-19. Let us also encourage one another to pray to God, who is the Lord of Covid-19.

Despite our business, let us, like our Lord Jesus Christ, constantly quarantine ourselves to a lonely place to pray. Let us not simply hear or read about pray. Let us PRAY, PRAY, PRAY.

  1. Rejoice always,Pray continually give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit.Do not treat prophecies with contempt but test them all;hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
