2021 is already here. I think it is important to take time to reflect upon last year and see what worked and what didn't. It is necessary to do a year end review of your life especially if you have regrets, strong emotions, discouragement, frustrations, pain, failures, losses and so on about last year.
Yea, sadly, its been a hard, tragic year, this past 2020 but its also about time to shake off those regrets and pain and start fresh. Have a clean outlook to life even with all the hurt and sadness. It's ok to start a clean slate because our God is Sovereign.
I am going to share just 1 thing that would help you start a fresh successful outlook for this coming New year.
All you need is:
Time, a small space, a Journal, your Bible and a Pen
Simple directions:
Everyday pick a certain time, a spot, pray, and write down 1 thing you are grateful for/ a promise of God/ an encouraging word/ bible verse that blessed you that day. Do this consistently everyday at the same time and by the end of the year you will have 365+ things that you are grateful for and you will be amazed how this simple thing have changed your life in an amazing way.
This preparation will help you to hold onto to what you wrote for that day and it will help you heal, pray, repent, forgive, love, and rejoice in the Lord. It will help you to connect with the Lord on a daily basis and slowly you will see changes in your heart to be ok and heal from those who hurt you because in the end you will find purpose reading and writing the word of God because it would have cleansed you to keep you focused on Christ Jesus. It will bring you multiplied joy, restoration and peace also you will be surprised to see the fruit of the spirit produce and grow in you. ("But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." - Galatians 5:22-23)
The cool thing is that this will help you not to depend and expect anything from anyone, other than to depend on the Lord alone and this small step will bless you to bless others. Rise up dear sweet friend and Shine your light to bring the hope of the Lord Jesus Christ this coming New year. I pray that you will take this as a new year resolution and begin your new year with a fresh start. Restoration is coming. God bless you in much abundance. Stay encouraged.
