God's compassion never fails - His sweet mercies are new every morning!

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” - Lamentations 3:22-24

But I will not remove from him my steadfast love or be false to my faithfulness. - Psalm 89:33 

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. - 1 Corinthians 10:13 

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:9 

If we are faithless, he remains faithful— for he cannot deny himself. - 2 Timothy 2:13

Simply love this! Beautiful reminders that God never changes, and provides for ALL our needs!

This hymn reminded me and keeps reminding me of God’s GREAT faithfulness to all of us. I asked the Lord to meet me in my quiet place this morning. I needed a touch from Him. This song came on as I got ready to set in my quiet place. The phrase that comes to my mind every morning for the last few years has been that "God's mercy is new every morning." Not matter what we are going through or how we are feeling His mercies, favor, grace, love is new every morning. "Morning by morning new mercies I see." 

How wonderful is that we can see God's sweet mercies covering us up. "All I have needed thy hand hath provided." Isn't that true? Hasn't He provided everything we need right now and then? We did not deserve any of it but He gave it regardless, lavished His love over us through His son, Jesus Christ, How precious. We are saved by His love and grace. 

Our Lord God is a Faithful God. We can be secure in Him. I pray we all be drawn into the mercy of GOD like never before. His word tells us that we can count on His faithfulness. Trust Him. Be confident in Him. He loves you and cares about you so much.

Dear Lord, thank you so much for your sweet love and mercies. You have provided all for me. Great is your faithfulness Lord unto me. I know I did not deserve anything but you showered your love on me. Thank you so much for your care and compassion. I love you Jesus. I trust you forever. In Jesus name, Amen.
