ANSWER: Jonah
The whole incident is in the book of Jonah. God told Jonah to go to Nineveh to tell the people about God so they have a chance to repent of their wicked ways but Jonah did not want to go and so took a ship that was going to Tarshish. Due to his disobedience, God sent a furious storm at the sea and the ship was in great danger. Finally, after casting a lot, and it pointed to Jonah as the reason for the bad weather and they threw him overboard. God sent a large fish (called a whale by most) and it swallowed him and vomited him on dry land. Jonah then went on to Nineveh where he preached to the people and they repented. - (Jonah 1-3)
