Every end is just a new beginning. Keep your spirits and determination unshaken and you shall always walk the glory road. With courage, faith and efforts you shall conquer everything you desire. I wish you a very happy new year 2023.
Praise always exalts God. And if we take time to think about it, praise should be a full-time job. However, there may be times when you wonder, “How can I praise God for sorrow and disappointment?” One way we do this is by setting our minds and hearts on God’s grace and mercy. Even in times of deep sorrow and frustration, God remains faithful. He has a plan for our lives, and He will accomplish it.
David was the anointed king of Israel, yet for years he was forced to live life on the run from King Saul. From a human perspective, it seemed David had very little, if anything, to praise God for. However, he did just that. He wrote a wonderful testimony of praise to God:
I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies (Psalm 18:1-3).
When you lift your voice to God with words of praise, you declare His goodness and faithfulness to an unbelieving world. Therefore, praise the Lord with all your heart!
PRAYER:
Dear Lord God,
Bless me to start Fresh in this new season of life that you gave! Although, no one can go back and make a brand new start, but through you I know we can start from now and make a brand new ending. Let me be renewed in my mind, spirit and heart. Guide me to see things through your eyes! Help me to be what you want me to be. Let me be a helping hand to those in need. Bless me to be kind and patient. You do great works in my life. You bless me and all my household this year. May you prosper me according to your plans and will. Let me be restored in your love and also restore to me twice that which was stolen for me. Put your hand over me and mine and bless me. Bless me to walk out my Faith in you. Let my focus only be in you Jesus and not be distracted by the worldly things. Help me to be giving and sharing. Thank you Lord for hearing me out. I know you have a purpose and good plans for my life. I will hold onto your grace and truth and keep trusting you for all the good things you have in store for me. Thank you Lord for everything and for the upcoming year. I love you. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
