Sunday Blessings - Ask, Seek and Knock! 💛

Today's Bible Reading Portion: Matthew 7

Read Matthew 7 Here --> ESVKJV

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh. findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." - Matthew 7:7-8

The meaning is that there will be receiving, finding, and opening of doors for the one who asks, seeks, and knocks according to God’s will. Don’t just ask God for things. Step out and seek ways that He might answer them, and then knock on the doors of opportunity that are presented. In this way, praying is more than just asking God for things and then sitting around, waiting for Him to respond. Our part is to be open with God; his part is to give what he alone knows is best to give. His plans for our life is always good and never to harm. He has great things in store for us. Just go to Him and be honest about all things in your life, about the pain, the joy, and just about everything. He will be there to help you out and guide you in your hardship and He will be there to celebrate in your big moments, as well. Keep on pressing forward and trusting Jesus.

PRAYER:

Dear God,

Thank you for this grand day. Thank you for hearing me out, when I ask, you give, when I seek, you help me find, when I knock, you open the doors of blessings, for me. I celebrate because You have blessed me in abundance. In Jesus name, Amen.

REFLECT: What have you learned while waiting on God?
