"Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand." - Proverbs 19:21
One of the greatest promise for us to hold onto is that, God is Sovereign.
He is in control over all matters of life. Nothing in this universe can thwart His plans. The word say's, "He does whatever He pleases." (Psalm 115:3)
Nobody can stand in God's way. Nothing. Not you. Not the enemy. Not any force that is trying to bring you down can stand in God's way. His plans for you will form and it will be good. He will make sure to get you to His intended destination. He will keep directing you in the direction and plans that He desires for you until His sovereign rule is achieved.
When you wrap your heart around this promise it will help you both in your comfort and not so great days. He will sustain and develop everything that concerns you in due season. Trust Him at His word for the purpose of the Lord concerning you will stand forever. All you got to do is to Hold onto His truth that He is Sovereign and that He is in control of all your circumstances.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this beautiful day. I am glad you are with me. I am not always sure what the future is holding. But I know that you have a plan and purpose for my life. Thank you for taking care of all my needs and protecting me. I will not fear instead, I will put my whole trust in you. In Jesus name, Amen.
