“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” - Matthew 11:28-30
Are you tired and worn out with all the things you see and hear? Are you tired with all the world's agendas? Are you anxious about your future? Do you feel afraid and lonely? Are you swirling down in depression? Are you stressing about your family situations and relationships?
What if I tell you, "Come let's go find a calm spot by the beach, and rest awhile. Then find some pebbles and rocks and throw it into the Ocean?"
What happens?
It would sink far away into the deep, deep, blue sea. Never coming back and it cannot be retrieved either.
This is how God wants you to throw all your troubles, aches and pains into God's abundant care. He will tend it with deep care and help you with His meekness and gentleness. He will calm your spirit and refresh you with a cup of oil flowing over you to anoint you with His presence and blessings. Your cup will overflow with His goodness and love. His yoke is easy and burden light, learn from Him the gentleness and humility. His word will become a balm to your soul. He will ease all your weariness and refresh you with His kindness. Just go to Him. He is inviting you to Come and rest a little while in His sweet grace and His truth will restore and redeem you forever. Dress your best today and RSVP your spot to speak with the King. He has all the answers you need and in Him you will find peace and rest. God bless.

Dear God,
Thank you for you presence. I am glad I can lean onto your bosom and rest assured knowing that you are with me. Thank you for healing me with you peace and calm. I rest in you today. In Jesus name, Amen.
