TEN steps to help you start Praying with Confidence 💙

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” - Hebrew 4:16

The ability to communicate with our Creator in prayer is a blessing that we can embrace with confidence. Learning to pray confidently will move us closer to our loving God who always wants to meet with us.

Whether you are a brand new Christian or long-time believer who’s just never really figured out prayer, let’s get started today. Prayer is a conversation you have with God. It does not have to be fancy and elaborate. You don't need to decorate it with extra frills and fittings because God knows your heart. Prayer can also seem intimidating if we lack confidence that God will really listen to our prayers and answer them. Praying confidently means trusting that God will meet us in prayer because he cares about us. The more you pray, the more comfortable and confident you’ll become. Enter God's presence and start the conversation and let him lead you in learning to pray.

Some things I have noticed in my chat with God is that:

1: Just come as you are.

2: Believing that God is with you.

3: Being Confident that He is listening.

4: Approaching Him with respect, humility and reverence.

5: God wants to meet you where you are.

6: Take away logic and assumptions when you are with Him.

7: Be consistent to meet Him at a day to day basis.

8: Allow time and space to share your thoughts and also willing to listen to what He wants to speak to you.

9: Be creative: Worship, sing, celebrate, Bible journal, memorize a scripture, praise and jot down what you are being grateful for.

10: Expect big things from God even if it don't make sense because we believe that His plans for each of us are always good and it is never to harm and His word never comes back void.

When we pray confidently, we will see our spiritual lives change for the better. Anxiety will decrease, and peace will increase, in our lives. Always Pray to align your heart with God’s.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:6-7

Let’s look forward to the wonder we can discover during our prayer times with God! Share this article to encourage and bless others. God Bless.
